Dubois-Pike Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, non-profit financial institution that’s been a staple of the Jasper community for over 40 years. Their existing website was long overdue for a revamp. IdeaFusion’s site redesign delivered a professional, user-friendly website for their customers to use.
Project Goal: A User-friendly Site Redesign
Dubois-Pike’s outdated website was causing usability issues for their customers. Consequently, the goal of the project was to redesign the site in a way that made it more usable for their customers. IdeaFusion built the new site on WordPress. As a result, the employees of DPFCU could make basic changes to the site themselves.
Most Challenging Aspect: Exit Box for Compliance
Due to compliance requirements, the new website needed to have an “exit box” on the site. If a user clicks on an external link, they get a warning that they’re about to leave the DPFCU website. Making that happen was the biggest challenge I faced on this project since I hadn’t done it before.
Client Reaction
My contact on this project was Mike Betz, a Compliance Officer at Dubois-Pike. He had this to say about the site redesign process:
Josh did a great job on our website. He took our very old and outdated website and brought it into the 21st century. It looks professional and it is easy to navigate for our credit union members.
Josh was very friendly and easy to work with and made the website project fun to complete.
