The Emerging Leaders are a local philanthropic organization and a component fund of the Dubois County Community Foundation. They allow those from ages 25-44 to make a difference in their local community. They wanted a site design that they could maintain themselves.
Project Goal: A Self-Maintained Site Design
The Community Foundation wanted their staff to be able to maintain the site. I built the site with WordPress for just this reason, due to its ease of use. A short training session and the staff was off and running.
Biggest Challenge
A short timeline was the biggest challenge on this project. The client wanted the site to be available at the start of their grant cycle. They planned to use the site to let members vote to nominate potential grant recipients.
In just over two weeks, I was able to design a site from the ground up and have it available to their members in time for voting.
